The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is the largest hunger relief organization in Northeast Ohio having provided over 49 million meals during our last fiscal year to hungry people in Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Ashland, and Richland counties. The organization's mission is to ensure that everyone in these communities has the nutritious food they need every day. In our three-year strategic plan, we will work creatively and use our new capacity from our current expansion project to reach more people with food, benefits access, and services to address hunger today, tomorrow, and for a lifetime. Our three-year strategic goals consist of 1) end hunger today by reaching more income eligible people with nutritious food, in partnership with our network 2) end hunger tomorrow by providing income eligible people with outstanding access to public benefits, to provide short term stability 3) end hunger for a lifetime by creating a national model to provide outstanding access to wraparound services to address the underlying causes of food insecurity.
