Position: Produce Distribution Coordinator

Type: Regular Full-Time, Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

This position will focus on developing and expanding the mobile pantry program for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank by working with community partners to expand our mobile pantry distribution efforts in our six county territory. This position will develop relationships and travel in Ashland, Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, and Richland counties. This position will work closely with the Produce Partnerships Manager and the internal team to coordinate and organize the logistics of up to 170 mobile pantry distributions per month. This position will recruit new sites, train and orient partners, provide excellent customer service, maintain documentation for compliance and provide best practice tips for all mobile pantry partners. This position requires that one work well in a team atmosphere and be committed to a high level of communication both internally and externally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. This list is not all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma. Some college course work or Associates Degree preferred.  Three (3) years related experience preferred in customer service relationship management, customer service, general documentation and file-keeping, and public speaking or group education/training. Customer Relationship experience and Microsoft Office experience preferred. Must be willing and able to travel for the organization with short notice on a weekly notice (Northeast Ohio). Must be able to exercise leadership in various internal and external relationships, including cultivation and networking.  Willingness to work beyond normal working hours, when necessary, including some Saturday mornings.  Must possess outstanding leadership abilities and communication skills to effectively work in an environment of highly diverse people.  Must possess strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Windows based computer software, with an emphasis on spreadsheets, word processing and database management mandatory. ServSafe Certified required (Food Bank will offer training), Unencumbered Drivers Licenses and able to maintain auto insurance coverage under the Greater Cleveland Food Bank auto insurance.
